GENERAL CONDITIONS TO THE SERVICED RENTAL AGREEMENT |

TO MAKE A RESERVATION Select a property and we will confirm its availability. We then require a completed signed Booking Form and a Travel Details Form that can be faxed or E-mailed to you.
These can also be accessed on our web-site and submitted to us. Upon receipt of the Booking Form, we will confirm the reservation. Only the named people on the booking form may occupy the property. Any change or the addition of extra people will automatically and without notice bring the contract to an end.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION We require full payment eight weeks prior to arrival. Should you need to cancel the booking, a refund is subject to us being able to re-let the property. We do advise, therefore, that you take travel insurance to cover this eventuality. For bookings made outside the eight weeks period, we require a 25% Booking Deposit to hold the property. This is non-refundable.
Payment may be made by the following means:
The Rent: 1) By Cheque in Pounds Sterling or US Dollars 2) By Bank Transfer in Pounds Sterling or US dollars 3) By Credit Card - VISA or MASTERCARD only.
There will be a 2% surcharge for this transaction.
The Refundable Damage Deposit: 1) Must be taken by Credit Card - VISA or MASTERCARD only. There will be no surcharge on this transaction and this will be taken two weeks prior to arrival.
The amount of these payments is subject to the exchange rate at the time.
BOOKING AMENDMENT Should you need to change the dates of arrival and departure, please contact us immediately. Changes are subject to the availability of the property booked and may be subject to an additional administration fee.
THE REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT This is a refundable deposit from which we will deduct the cost of telephone calls, clean out fee, any damage caused and the cost of laundering excess linen.
CLEAN-OUT FEE The tenants are responsible for their own housekeeping whilst in occupation as properties are not serviced. The fee listed on each property descriptions is based on a stay of up to 14 nights. For longer stays it may be higher. This charge is deducted from the refundable damage deposit and covers the cost of laundering one set of linen and towels per bedroom and a general clean at the end of the tenancy.
MAID SERVICE Should you require maid service, we can arrange this. The cost is £15 per hour for a minimum three hour visit plus travelling expenses.
TELEPHONE CALLS. The cost of calls will be deducted from your refundable damage deposit.
ARRIVAL IN LONDON Should you arrive in London by aeroplane or train, we strongly advise that you book with us a black London taxi. They will have the keys to the property, meet you at the airport and take you straight to the straight to the property in comfort. We can arrange for you to be met during office hours by one of our representatives, should you prefer. It is mandatory that you be met by a driver if your arrival is outside office hours ( 9.30 am - 5pm Monday to Friday).
DEPARTURES You must leave the property on your departure date by 10.30am. We ask you to contact us regarding your departure time at least three working days before you leave. Should you require a taxi to collect you, we can arrange this for you. Should you require a late departure, please advise us prior to your arrival and we will see what arrangements can be made.Late departures are subject to an additional half/day charge.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUND This will be made 4-6 weeks after your departure subject to us having received the telephone charges. We check the property after you leave and we do request that tenants are honest about any breakage they may have caused.
FORCE MAJEURE The company reserves the right in the case of force majeure resulting in the property being rendered unsuitable for occupation, to substitute a property of similar standard and sleeping capacity. Neither Home from Home nor the owner of the property is liable for any accident, loss or damage sustained during the let.
